ARGG.... the irony - how on earth is someone who is being tested for a maths disability supposed to interpret all those numbers????
Well done Animalhugger for managing to write them all down (I always mess up writing numbers) ...let alone translate their meanings into something more helpful than just a bunch of numbers!! |

Okay, number 1: I can't understand why they tested you with WAIS - that's for adults.
Did they decide that you should be tested with a system for adults for some reason? Did they tell you why?
And what's that 10-16 age you are talking about? WAIS is for adults, WISC for children/teens. Never heard of someone your age being tested with WAIS (a lot of adults get tested by WISC though, because a lot of educational psychologist normally only works with children, so they're not trained in WAIS).

carolineinoz - I know, right?!?!?! I thought I was going to die, typing in all those numbers!!!
Ert - Hm, that's interesting. I didn't realize that it was strange...They didn't mention that it was testing for adults....But the paper said on it that it was for ages 10-16 (I'm about to turn 17).
But it is NOT the WISC test. Just before my Table of Scores (the ones I didn't write out - too long!) it says this:
Woodcock-johnson III Normative Update Tests of Achievement (Form A)
WJ III NU Compuscore and Profiles Program, Version 3.0
Then, underneath that....Norms based on age 16-10.
Is that wrong?
I'm NOT stupid!!!!! |

Okay, my Papa is helping to clear this up....
They did three assessments: Social, Educational, and Physcological.
The Social is just Q&A and history.
The Educational Assessment was the Woodcock-Johnson III Normative Update; Tests of Achievement - Form A.
The Physcological Evaluation was the WAIS - III.
OOOPS! I see the issues, maybe...I typed out the Verbal/Performace Sub-Scale tests to you....That was the WAIS - III.
The broad tests were the Educational Woodcock thingy. So, the Woodcock thing is for 10-16, I guess???
