I am an 36 year old woman that has not been diagnosed, but I know I have this.No one would know better than I would. The problem is I have a 9 year old daughter who I am sure has this as well.I informed the school last year, they had never heard of it.Now I want her to be diagnosed so she gets the help she has a right to! I want her to have a an IEP { individualised education plan}.What other steps should I be doing other than talking to the school and asking my doctor. She has a visit for tommorrow at the doctor.I also have a meeting in 2 hours at the school. Can anyone give me some advice? |

Go to Learning Disabilities Association of Canada website, find your Provincial LD Association and give them a call - They should be able to inform you as to where your daughter and you can get tested and other useful informations.
Good luck
