hello everyone! its teeco Smile
as some of you know, i have auditory prosesing disorder. i found the most AMAZING solution for me! i cannot listen to more than one person at one time. otherwise i cant "decode" what people are trying to say to me. so while i was listening to my ipod on the way to church 3 weeks ago (i was not hear for the last two weeks) i found that if i concentrate on all the difrent sounds in the music, i can concentrate on more then one person speaking! like if there is a bass gitar, a piano and a electric gitar, i will concentrate on the sounds they make individualy, then i will mix them together one by one and concentrate on more and more sounds but still know what they are and what sounds they are makeing. its been so AMAZING! i can listen to more and more people! (im stuck at 3) im thinking it might work for other people with other LD tipes in difrent parts of there lives. would anyone try this? would you tell me if anything happens?

Teeco, that's a simple and very logical way to practice blocking out competing sounds. Then to shift the focus from sound to sound, amongst the combined sounds.
Excellent discovery!
