Hi everyone.

I know I'm only in grade 10 but I have struggled with math since elementary usually I was never able to obtain an B in math, in grade 8/9 I think I got a B for a short period of time but I had a really GOOD teacher.
This year in math has been horrible, I can never remember anything that we do. I just did a math midterm a few days ago and I only got a 29% percent on it. All my other unit exams I did in math I never got over 50%.
All of my other friends seem to be doing so well. I just can't understand math at all. I get my left and right mixed up sometimes, I could never be a cashier because I have difficulty doing math in my head. I sometimes have to use my fingers to count time. I just plain hate math.
I have a feeling I'm not going to pass it this semester. Angry

Hi farfaraway,

It sounds like you have had an aweful time, it must be very difficult and stressful to deal with especially as you see your peer group seemingly doing well with their math.

I used to get my lefts and rights mixed up too but overcame this by simply thinking of whcih hand i hold a pen in when i write, which for me is my right hand ( 'write-hand' ) and the one i don't hold a pen in is the one 'left' over. no good if you are a left hander!

Good luck with things and with passing this semester.

Antonio
