Yep, I'm currently a student at a 4-year university working on two degrees. One of which has 4 semesters of math requirements... oy. I'm actually not going to graduate "on time" because I simply don't have enough semesters to take those math classes in. Whoops. Oh well, better I take 5 years to get my two degrees than not get them at all! And then grad school... sometimes I wonder if I'm a masochist, LOL.

Damn. I'm impressed.

To answer the original question, I was diagnosed in '95, graduated in '97.

I'm in my second year at a small liberal arts university. I'm majoring in English, but dreading the math requirement that I know I will eventually have to take.

I probably hold the record,... not the good kind,... I've gone to college for six and a half years to get a 2-year degree, which I should finally get at the end of this current Fall semester. - jus'

I went to College at 18 and did a BTEC 1st diploma, came top of the class, I was one of only 2 students to get a Distcinction grade for the course, and made history by being the first girl ever to get "Best Overall Student" Award for the course (which is traditionally male-dominated).

12 years on and I'm back at college taking my A1 award (NVQ assessor).

Kestrel6, you are an inspiration! It's UTA Arlington that won't accept my MLD diagnosis. That first mis-diagnosis is ruining everything. Congratulations on finally passing college algebra. Did you know about MLD at the time? Did you use accommodations? - jus'
