As the title says, I have finally passed my driving test! Grin

I have managed to handle the left and right issues Smile I had a very nice tester and that made things a whole lot easier.

Hehe. I think this is my biggest accomplishment so far.

Thanks RosieLee and Jus' : )

At the moment, mum and dad do not allow me to drive anywhere without one of them being in the car. Makes sense to me, I kind of need all the help I can get with directions. I guess they would prefer me to be safe when driving, especially for the first few months.

I think they can foresee the chances of me getting lost if I drive alone Pfft

That sounds reasonable to me. The more practice you get, the more secure you'll feel when you do go out on your own. And sometimes other drivers will 'rush' you, so at first you'll benefit by having someone in the car to tell you that you're 'in the right'. - jus'

Jus- Yup. I was rushed by a driver. It does make me panic when that happens.

RottieWoman- Thanks! : )

Edelweiss- Thanks. I hope you will do well in your driving test in the next few weeks I know how it feels, for me the whole length of weeks that I had to learn driving really made me upset. It felt like math class all over again.

Kestrel, Haha. Thank you. Talking about highway petrol, it would be interesting if there is a research on dyscalculic drivers. I read one on dyslexic drivers.

Yup currently saving for a GPS. My birthday is coming up, will ask my parents if I can get one as a birthday present.

Good on y'all ! I remember I flunked the first time because I turned a corner and wound up on the wrong side of the (unoccupied) street!

when I took my drivers test in '97, they were still requiring the parallel parking and yup, I sucked at it but it was a couple of things that took me out of the running on the first attempt. 2nd time was the charmSmile
