At the moment it is sitting on my nightstand. I think it would be safer on a wall so I would like to hang it, but with my 24x36 robert pattinson framed poster I am running a little short on wall space! XD

That is so badass! Congrats Jill, you're doing so much great work at UM to help other disabled students. I'm glad you're being recognized for it. Smile And I feel you on the giant posters taking up room, I have a 4x6 foot poster of Johnny Cash giving the camera the finger that I was not able to bring to my apartment because there is simply not a wall big enough in my room for it. My roommate probably wouldn't mind it in the living room, but I think it's a little crass for company.

I am not 100% sure, but I think I may have been the only student who was included, except for a couple of scholarships who all went to the same girl. All of the certificates went to faculty/staff (and one alum) except for mine. Grin I wanted to introduce myself to the woman who won the big award, she is a professor at one of our branch campuses and she is an advocate in washington, but I didn't get to. I was thinking about sending her an email to introduce myself and congratulate her but haven't decided if I can pull that off with social grace. lol. We'll see. I am just very excited, I've never won anything.

They always had these ceremonies for perfect attendance and most improved when I was in k-12 and I never won anything at any of them, so I told my mom this is the mother of all perfect-attendance awards, to make up for all the award ceremonies I was excluded from in elementary school for being a dunce. XD
