Here's a Thread where you can post photos of your Artwork.

You can upload images to post by pressing the "Post Reply" button instead of writing a message in the Quick Reply-box at the bottom of all the discussion threads. Then you see a page where you can only write, not read the other posts at the same time. At the bottom it says "Attachment", and then you just find the image on your computer by pressing Browse button. The photo wont appear until after you post the message. The file size can't be too huuuge, but I can't remember how huge it can be...

Hi MettePfft,
I didn't use it for the sad face, but for the little question marks ? above the face. But they're hard to see. It was the question about the file size, where I'm really happy that you let me know what the limit is.
I had been trying to post one of my paintings that my avatar is from, which I had got from 1.5 Mb down to 680 Kb. So I'm really happy to know that I need to get down to 150 kb.
So thanksPfft
Geoff.

WOW eoffg, Geoff!!!Cool You are quite an accomplished ArtistPfftGrin I love your use of color and the design is unique and quite interesting. Reminds me of the inner workings of a transistor radio from the 1960's.Remember those? And the "It just went clunk". is so apt for our No Math Zone minds. Clunk is when something falls down or breaks and makes a sound. But it tends to be a deep sound. You can also clunk someone on their head Wink

Hey Countess, Pfft
Did you know the English language has some Germanic origins? I am always fascinated by foreign languages-Can't speak them-but I love foreign accents so give yourself more credit.Pfft the fact you can write English means you have much mastery over it plus your native German languagePfftGrinPfftGrin Sign me, OneOutofOrderScrewballPfftGrinPfft

Wellllllllllllll..............I tried to get it to look like me as much as possible....so, yeah, its very very similar to my looksGrin and thank u for the nice compliment! Cool Smile

btw I think almost all of the english language words have origins from other languages, it was said that english is a "new" language..........

Oh don't loose your German! I love the language! I tried to learn it in second year university, but I am horrible at learning languages in the classroom. I am sure if I ever went to Germany I would pick it up pretty quickly Smile I am really good with learning in the field Smile

PS My family's roots are in Germany Smile

Oh and the thing I love most about the German language is it is very phonetic and you can make really really big words out of lots of little small words Grin I think dyslexics would have a much easier time learning German then learning English (which by the way is a mixture of Anglo Saxon, German, French, Greek, Latin, and various other languages! No wonder it is not phonetically sound! LOL!)!

Grin Oh thank you so much everybody !
Hm, sometimes I think an english word is more precise than a german word. Strange ! For me the englisch language sounds a bit of a mix from dutch + an old-german-language (Plattdeutsch). Yes and Latin as well, Mermaid. (Greek is my second favourite language, but only speaking it. After nearly 20 years of holidays there, I love it)
But with having this wonderful Football-Worldcup here in Germany, we are all one people Wink
And I wont loose my German Pfft

Love your Emoticon, CountessCool. One other thing I know about German is it is a good "I'm Angry"language as some of the words can sound so authoriative and succinct.LOLPfftGrinPfft And you're right not only is the U.S.A a wondeful melting pot of different cultures and people from other countries the English language comes from different origins including Latin which is not taught in schools although it's used in medicine. Sad to me Languages like Spanish, German, and French for example are not taught at the pre-school level when children could easily become fluent in these languages.Just another sad commentary besides Dyscalcculia on the educational system in this country. Sure wish it was different. Sign me OneOutofOrderScrewballPfftGrinPfftGrin

Ooooh, that's what your avatar was, Geoff - I've been wondering, from time to time! Looks great. I kind of have a "thing" for art when words are added. It just makes more sense to me. Not that I need a "manual" to understand it the way it was made to be understood, I just need a manual to understand in my own way. Words make sense, along with art. But at the same time, poetry and stuff like that has never been a favorite thing of mine. So yeah, mixed media is the way to go, for me.
