Have you ever wondered if we all see the same? On Wednesday 20th September , internationally acclaimed visual processing consultant Ian Jordan is coming to Lincoln England to give two talks.The first presentation entitled " Your Head Has Disappeared, You Smell Strange & I Want To Take My Clothes off!" is a whole day interactive lecture aimed at the teaching profession. Hot/ cold lunch with dessert & refreshments provided. Cost is professionls £95.00 each or £80.00 each if two or more people from the same organisation.
Visual impact in dyscalculia, dyslexia, ASD, Asperger's , ADD, ADHD & dyspraxia will be addressed.
The second presentation, " Mum, I Never Knew You Looked So Pretty ..." is aimed at parents and is much shorter & starts at 7.00pm. Cost £5.00

For those not familiar withI an Jordan ; Ian is a visual processing consultant, research optician & clinical director of Orthoscopics Ltd. Six books, numerous awards designer & post grad lecture , Ian has appeared on BBC TV, SKY, Teachers TV on a number of occasions & he is one of the highest profile personalities in this exciting new area.Lecture credits include World Dyslexia Congress, BDA International Conference, Autism National Conference & many more. In over 5000 evaluations of his educational lectures Ian has never had less than good with over 98% very good/ excellent. During the lecture in Lincoln visual impact in dyscalculia, ASD, Asperger's Syndrome, dyslexia ADD, ADHD, dyspraxia & concentration problems will be addressed.

Oh how I wish i'd known about this! I went to University in Lincoln and those lectures were probably held at that my university as it's a teaching college! (i.e. a college that teaches teachers to teach!)
If i'd have know then I may have gone (depending on if they did a discount rate for me as a student) It was even while I was doing my degree. No one advertised it to us! Shame on the lecturing circle for not including those people who may one day be teaching dyscalculics! |
