Basically, ive been having a lot of trouble understanding my maths teacher. To me, she explains it too fast, but everyone else seems to get it. I normally just get a friend to explain it again, but thats been getting a bit annoying, especially since my friend is usually finished the excersise by the time i fully understand it.
I having been officially diagnosed with dyscalculia yet, but a lot of the symtpoms and people here are the same as me. I probaly wont be taking a test anytime soon though. I really just want some maths tips, cause ive tried getting a tutor, but i pretty much forget the stuff i learned the next day. Even if i understand how to work out the question, i dont know why. How does everyone else memorize rules and stuff, or does anyone have any good tips. THANKS!!!

Have you tried discussing your issues with your teacher? Some teachers are more than willing to spend extra time with you so that you can solidify the concepts. You can also approach it from more of a memorization standpoint. What level math are you? It depends on what you are learning. |
