Well, I'm embarrassed to admit that the Beauty and the Geek marathon has taken over my television today, LOL.
However, while I was watching, I saw a commercial for MTV's Be the Voice competition. Basically, if you're unhappy with your school system or education, or you just want to improve your school, you can enter the contest. If you win, you get a $10,000 scholarship and a trip to Washington D.C. to be the voice at a major education conference.
I am seriously considering entering, because I want to spread the word about dyscalculia and possibly about general learning disorders in schools. It would be great if more than one person entered, though.
here's the site for more information. Let's spread the word!

That is a wonderful idea !!!
I checked with the German and European site of MTV ... no such competiton here
If you do so and need votes or something like that, please say a word
I hope other (American/Kanadian) members of our forum will follow.
