I'm an undiagnosed dyscalculic, not because I haven't been 'tested', but because the test didn't confirm my dyscalculia. The tests are based on how one 'performs', and not on what part of one's brain is being used to get the right answer. Until MRI's (or something else that 'sees' into the brain) are the testing criteria, I probably won't get a Math LD diagnoses. My math IQ is too high. To get the dyscalculia diagnoses, one's Math IQ must be below 90 (100 being average).

I found and joined this forum shortly after finding out about dyscalculia,... about 6 months ago. I'd never blogged before and I was very cautious in the beginning. But the people here are just wonderful. They have enriched my life. I find myself doing research, not just for my own sake, but also for theirs. If you're looking for dyscalculics, I'd say you've found the 'motherload' here on this forum.
