Hi Joy,

My DD was just diagnosed last month with a "learning disability in math". We are homeschoolers, so we had to get an outside educational psychologist. She used several tests to get the diagnosis. We live in the Houston area. I could give you the name of the psychologist we used.

If we had been in public school, my daughter still wouldn't have been tested. She scores average on standardized tests and has learned coping skills to "get by" in math. But, as a homeschooler there is no hiding. It's just us......and in my gut I knew there was something not clicking. She is actually labeled "gifted and learning disabled".
