I was also born 3 mos. early. I don't think I've ever met anyone born that early..it was 1980 though, and the technology has improved since then. I did not have delayed speech or language skills, in fact they came quite early, although I believe it took me a bit longer to learn to walk than most. I had never thought about the link between premature birth and dyscalculia. I do know that being in an incubator, there was the possibility of too much oxygen at birth, which is why many preemies apparently become deaf/blind etc. This did not happen to be, but I do wonder if coming into the world early had any effect...
