I was officially diagnosed with "math learning disability", rarely use "dyscalculia" except mostly on this forum. My college accommodations included any classes. I specifically used that in relation to my two math classes there - honestly don't recall if I actually utilized the accommodations in my Bio class or not...but since I went for B.A. with Spanish and Soc. majors, I only needed that one science class and have done well in most parts of basic Bio; also had AP Bio in high school so that helped me in college.
jus' is so right in saying how many people - including doctors, teachers, psychologists, etc., really DON'T know anything about math LD - they know only about dyslexia. I too am glad you have shared more with us and wish you the best of luck with your DSS office! <Disabled Student Services> :)
