I would just like to add that over here at the moment it seems that there
are two distinctions being made and these are between dyscalculia and maths learning disorder or (MLD)
Dyscalculia is: inability or poor ability to subtize, no intrinsic number sense, poor sense of amount or quantity.
Maths learning disorder: Visual processing and working memory problems which lead to difficulty in the reading of numbers and mixing up of symbols etc.
Then there are those that use the term interchangeably to mean both....
I wonder where everyone will settle on the terminology for dyscalculia in the end :)
