After a long battle with the local examinations board, they finally accepted that dyscalculia really exists and put it in the list of conditions that qualify for access arrangements during math O-level exams.
They are still a long way to go because they are only giving an extra 15 minutes in the written papers and nothing in the mental work.
Also, no help is given in Physics, which so much is based on maths.
They are also doing the exams more difficult, in fact more than half of the students either failed or passed with a very low mark, and I'm talking about people not effected by dyscalculia.
